Google bots are finding, scanning and ranking articles quicker than ever before. A lot of content seekers weren't even aware of the new algorithm powering Google, which was known as Google Caffeine while in beta testing.

Content producers, content marketers and content publishers should be aware of this fact though. If they aren't aware of it and utilizing a strategy to keep their current rankings, then they will likely lose positioning on their keyword search terms.

So now that we are aware of the newest changes to Google, how can online publishers take advantage of this?

In addition to creating more SEO articles, you should look to increase traffic to the articles you publish.

Our Increasing Website Traffic & Building Email Marketing Lists free eBook discusses over 30 ways to increase website traffic and build email marketing lists.

One specific chapter discusses how to receive more traffic to your articles. Three of the main tips include:

Tip #1 - Comments: Comments about related topics on other blogs will help you build an audience, receive more traffic and potentially get links back to your articles if done correctly. To do this correctly, search in Google for blogs talking about similar topics. In the comments section, leave a detailed one or two paragraphs adding real insight to the article. Then incorporate a link back to your article. Make sure you are including relevant information that enhances the existing conversation.

Tip #2 - Twitter: A fast way of spreading your article to an audience is through Twitter. Simply construct a teaser headline and include a link back to the original article. Be sure to leave space for additional characters so your article can be retweeted.

Tip #3 - Bookmarks: Add your article to social bookmarks like Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit or Delicious. In these locations your article will be live and people can read it if they so choose.
